The reason behind it
I made this for my wife.
Life got busy. The way it always does.
Work, errands, family… the endless to-do list. We were still a team. Still loved each other. But something we once chased quietly faded into the background.
So I made this for her.
For us.
One night, in a box, waiting to bring us back.
And because it was for her, every detail had to feel like it. Soft-touch cards. A weighted die. A keepsake box. Materials chosen to last. Because something meant to bring you closer should be made with care.
We chose FSC-certified paper for every card and envelope, because the forests this came from should still be standing when our kids grow up.

How it works
Let the anticipation build.
Reserved for Us™ is designed around anticipation. Draw your three cards about a week before your scheduled date so there is time to plan the Setting, make arrangements, and let the questions stay with you before the night arrives.
Natural, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. Not therapy. Not homework. Not another forced conversation.

Choose three cards ahead of time
About a week before your scheduled date, draw one Setting card, one Discovery card, and one Chemistry card. Read the Setting first so you have enough time to plan the evening with intention.

Read the questions together
Read the Discovery questions together before the date, then place that card in the envelope. This gives you time to think about how you want to answer and lets anticipation build before the night begins.

Keep Chemistry hidden
The Chemistry card goes into the envelope unread. It becomes the reveal for the actual date night, later in the evening, once you are back home, or wherever the moment feels right.

Open the envelope on date night
When the moment feels right, open the envelope and revisit the Discovery card. Roll the die. The higher number asks the questions first, then you switch.

Reveal the Chemistry card
Each person rolls again. The higher roll takes the lead, sets the moment, and initiates what the card invites. You can also save it for home or a more private place.

Put the phones away
The goal is not to rush through the cards. The goal is to protect the night, be present, and feel each other again without distractions.

No. Reserved for Us is meant to begin before the date. You choose the Setting, Discovery, and Chemistry cards ahead of time so the Setting can be planned. The Chemistry card stays hidden in the envelope until the date night, later in the evening, or once you are home.
No. Some Setting cards suggest a mood, place, or type of night, but the goal isn’t to create pressure or complicated planning. Many experiences can happen at home, out together, or wherever the two of you feel most present.
